CIES’ in-house documentation centre provides public research facilities. Visitors from around the world have access to over 14’000 bibliographical references in the CIES online catalogue. This specialised collection of resources is focused in the fields of sports law, sociology and economics.

CIES documentation centre is open for visitors 

• Monday to Friday from 8.30 – 12.00 and 13.30 – 17.30.

Book loans and research assistance are only available from

• Monday - Friday 8.30 – 12.00 and Monday – Wednesday 14.00 – 17.00.

Resources are also available via

• The RERO catalogue (Library Network of Western Switzerland), in which CIES collection is partly referenced, i.e. titles of books and scientific periodicals.
• Interlibrary loan in Switzerland (ILL-RERO network and system)
• International loan service for libraries and documentation centres. Printed copies of articles and extracts of books can be accessed. CIES is part of the IFLA Voucher Scheme.
