UCA : LAUNCH OF THE 7TH EDITION OF THE FIFA/CIES PROGRAMME

Partner of CIES since 2004, the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) has officially launched the 7th edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme of sport management. The courses will start at the beginning of May 2010.

This Programme has already been attended by 300 students in Argentina. It enables people from various professional and sporting horizons to familiarize themselves with modern management tools in key areas such as marketing, sponsoring, law, management, communication, finances and event management. Adapted to regional and national realities, the Programme also offers the opportunity to attend lectures given by international FIFA/CIES experts.

The International University Network created in the framework of the FIFA/CIES Programme comprises 13 universities, namely, the Universidad Católica Argentina in Buenos Aires, the Universidad Santo Tomás in Santiago de Chile, the Université Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar (Senegal), the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth (South Africa), the University of South Africa in Pretoria, the Cairo University in Egypt, the Universidad de Costa Rica in San José, the University of the West Indies in Port of Spain (Trinidad & Tobago), the Bahcesehir University in Istanbul (Turkey), the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine in Kiev, the Birzeit University in Ramallah (Palestine), the University King Juan Carlos in Madrid (Spain) and the Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas (Venezuela).
