WISE, the International Convention for Careers in Sports, announces strategic partnership with SportAccord, the International Federations' Union

WISE – Work In Sports Exhibition is proud to announce a strategic partnership with SportAccord, the Union for both Olympic and non-Olympic international sports federations as well as organisers of international sporting events, for the Convention’s second edition to be held in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 6-7 May 2015.

As an official strategic partner, SportAccord, whose major values are to encourage and facilitate knowledge sharing among members, will have a key role in further developing WISE’s mission of fostering career management in sports through an innovative and sharing platform. Both WISE and SportAccord will take advantage of this partnership to further promote their partners or members by increasing their visibility among the international sports industry.

Joint activities comprise :

• SportAccord’s exhibition booth present during WISE 2015
• inclusion of SportAccord Director General and Multi-Sports Games Director in panel discussions at WISE Forum
• provision of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) by SportAccord Academy to be released and made accessible to all WISE participants free of charge; further details will follow soon.

Vlad Marinescu, SportAccord Director General, commented : “The sports world is relatively close knit and we are delighted to partner with WISE 2015 to better interact and engage with the members of the global sports industry. This partnership will enable SportAccord to better represent the interests of our member federations by interacting with and inspiring future sports professionals.”
