"FIFA Master" Alumni, Roy Levy, named partner at the prestigious Probst Partner Law Firm in Switzerland

Roy Levy, who graduated with distinction from the “FIFA Master” - International Master in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport, has been named as a partner at the firm Probst Partner as of 1st January 2017. Roy graduated from the 11th edition of the “FIFA Master”, which is organized by the CIES in partnership with De Montfort University (Leicester, UK), SDA Bocconi School of Management (Milan, Italy) and the University of Neuchâtel.

After his clerkship at the District Court of Bulach (Switzerland), Roy worked in the Legal Department of Ernst & Young Ltd. from 2005 to 2010. Here, he focused on employment, migration and commercial law. He then joined Probst Partner in 2011.

He focuses his practice on advising and litigating in the areas of sports and employment law. He represents both national and international federations, clubs, coaches and athletes before all judicial bodies. These include,  FIFA, UEFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Further, he advises employers and employees on  all aspects of employment law and represents them in court.

Roy practices intellectual property law and migration law. He is also President of the Disciplinary Committee of the Swiss Handball Federation and regularly publishes articles related to sports law in the “Yearbook of International Sports Arbitration” and on www.lawinsport.com.

The CIES and “FIFA Master” course team send their many congratulations to Roy on his new appointment.
