On 14 November, Birzeit University (BZU) awarded diplomas to the 16 students who successfully completed the 5th edition of the FIFA/CIES Sport Management Programme in Palestine.
Organised in the premises of the BZU Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), the ceremony also marked the official launch of the 6th edition of the Programme, which will be attended by some twenty new students.
The diplomas were awarded in the presence of Ghassan Khatib, BZU Vice President for Advancement, Gen. Jibril Rajoub, President of the Palestinian Football Association (PFA), CCE and Programme Director Marwan Tarazi, Programme Coordinator Rania Abdelqader and Programme Administrative Coordinator Rula Alqutami.
Families, friends and Programme teachers were also present. The speakers paid tribute to the excellent work done by Birzeit University, emphasised both by the PFA President and by the student representing the new graduating class, Raed Tarek Salahat.
We extend our sincere congratulations to Ibrahim Samir, Ahrar Ibrahem, Osama Raslan, Amal Essa, Andre Samir, Hasan Mhmoud, Raed Tarek, Zuhdi Michael, Omar A. H., Faris, Daoud Salah, Firas, Mohammad, Mohammed Ali, Maram Hamed, Hadee Sayyad and Hadeel Nabeel.
And a warm welcome to all the new students who are eager to contribute to improving sports management in Palestine and who will soon be ready to meet many new challenges.
