Venezuela: Alumnus appointed to take responsibility for national football teams

For almost a year now, Jemmyl Lamprea León, who is an alumnus of the FIFA/CIES Executive Programme in Sports Management organised in partnership with Universidad Metropolitana (UNIMET) in Caracas (Venezuela), has been in charge of national football teams in the country.

Appointed by the Venezuela Football Federation (FVF), Jemmyl handles all day-to-day issues concerning the national football teams, including aspects of communication, administration, logistical issues and selection criteria, for example. He acknowledges that the UNIMET/FIFA/CIES Executive Certificate has played an important role in his career.

"The Programme helped me to refocus my work, and, in particular, to establish connections between theory and the practical aspects of my daily tasks. In addition to my prior professional experience, it played a key role in my appointment." said Jemmyl.

We extend our congratulations to Jemmyl and wish him every success as he works for the good of football in Venezuela.
