Raffaele Poli

Raffaele Poli holds a PhD in human sciences from the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland) and Franche-Comté (France). Dr Poli heads the CIES Football Observatory, a leading research group for the analysis of the transfer market and the performance of players. He is also lecturer at the Institute of geography of the University of Neuchâtel, where he teaches ‘Enjeux contemporains du sport’ with his colleague Roger Besson.
