We are delighted to announce Season 3 Ep#5 of our Free Live CIES WEBINAR Series!

The latest episode is entitled “Economic trends and changes in the football transfer market” and will be streamed live Wednesday, 29th September 2022 at 14h CEST.

Since its creation in 2005, the CIES Football Observatory has  monitored the transfers of football players’  through information published by clubs, governing bodies and the media. The latest European transfer windows indicated new trends in football’s multibillion euros market, with English Premier League clubs setting a new transfer spending record, of over €2.19 billion euros.

To reflect on what those figures mean for the global football industry, we have invited Raffaele Poli, Founder and Head of the CIES Football Observatory as our special guest speaker.
He will be interviewed by Tanya Heimlich-Ng Yuen, Partner and Senior Director at BCW Switzerland. Tanya is also a 2009 FIFA Master graduate.
