The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) is an independent study centre located in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It was created in 1995 as a joint venture between the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the University of Neuchâtel, the City and State of Neuchatel. CIES provides research, top-level education and consulting services to the sports world

AISTS – Official University Partner for Sports Professions

Every year, the AISTS (International Academy of Sports Science and Technology) organises the AISTS MSA (Master of Advanced Studies in Sports Administration and Technology) with the objective of training and educating future sport managers. The AISTS, located in Lausanne, the Olympic Capital, Switzerland, was founded in 2000.

Organising Committee for the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games – Sports Professions in Brazil

The infrastructure developments for the preparation of the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, are huge. There will be more than 100,000 people directly involved in the organisation of the Games, including 70,000 volunteers. Millions of people in the city, around the country and across the continent of South America will be reached and inspired by the Games. More than 10,500 athletes from approximately 205 nations around the world are expected to come to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, to compete in front of many thousands of media professionals, sports fans and tourists from all over the globe.

World Taekwondo Federation – Sports Specific Professions

The World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) is the sole international governing body for the sport of taekwondo recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Its mission since its foundation on May 28, 1973 is to provide effective international governance of taekwondo as an Olympic sport. As of April 1, 2013, the global membership of the WTF stands at 204 national associations, spanning five continents.

WISE is a two-day event to be held at MCH Beaulieu Lausanne SA in Switzerland on May 7-8, 2014.
