Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), the first academic partner of CIES, has just started the enrolment process for the 12th edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme which will begin on 11 May 2015 on the Puerto Madero campus in Buenos Aires.
UCA and CIES are very pleased to launch the twelfth edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management Argentina. Over the years, their cooperation has evolved into a strong and fruitful partnership. The Programme has gained an excellent reputation at the national and international levels. Since 2004, the Programme has in fact brought together over 350 students not only from Argentina, but also from Colombia, Uruguay, the Ukraine, Paraguay, Brazil, Guatemala, Panama, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Mexico, Spain, Greece, Italy and France.
To quote FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter who initiated the academic activities of the International Federation: “Sport - and football in particular - continues to evolve within a constantly shifting environment, which is more complex every day. I am convinced that only proper training will allow sports managers to cope with the many challenges they will have to face. The FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management (good governance), organised in cooperation with Universidad Católica Argentina, is a great way to acquire the knowledge and tools they need to confront these challenges”.
