Alumnus from the South African FIFA/CIES Executive Programme speaks about his future following a terrible accident

Gerald Dandah, who is a Zimbabwean citizen, was the victim of a terrible car accident as he was travelling to Port Elizabeth (South Africa) last September to receive his FIFA/CIES Executive Programme Diploma (cum laude) at Nelson Mandela University.

After convalescing for several weeks, Gerald spoke to The Daily News from Harare. Here he talked about his dreadful experience but also, and most importantly, about his hopes and ideas for the future of sport in Zimbabwe, and, in particular, for less privileged communities.

We wish Gerald a speedy recovery and congratulate him on his inspiring lesson of courage.
