The Annual Congress of the Swiss Law Libraries (ABJS/VJBS https://lawlibraries.ch ) took place by video conference on 27 and 28 May 2021. It was organized by the CIES Documentation Centre, with the support of the Law Library of the University of Neuchâtel.

About seventy specialists in information and documentation met online from across Switzerland. These specialists work in universities, law firms, courthouse libraries, national and cantonal libraries. They had the chance to hear captivating presentations. The conferences focused on issues related to digitalization and the use of digital platforms.

On Thursday 27, Professor Olivier Guillod, Director of the Institute of Health Law, provided answers to the question of "The right to be forgotten in the digital age”. Dr. Jacques Bühler, First Assistant to the General Secretary of the Federal Supreme Court, presented the "Searching for Federal Supreme Court decisions on the Internet”. The librarian of CIES, Ms Marie-Claude Borel, explained the genesis and functioning of the "Meta-catalogue of sports libraries in Switzerland” (https://software.bibliomaker.ch/bibliotheques-sport/indexE.html). The legal aspect of this project was addressed by Jacques Bühler.

On Friday 28, Dr. Jean-Philippe Dubey presented the "Electronic management tools available to the users of the Court of Arbitration for Sport”, in particular the access to online case law. The "Electronic resources of the University of Basel" were the subject of a presentation by Mr. Daniel Wyss.

To conclude, Mr. Pierre Cornu, President of the CIES, spoke about "Sports movements and their procedures”. Following these two half-day conferences of great interest, the ABJS members held their General Assembly online.
