An alumnus from the “FIFA Master” and the FIFA/CIES Programme organised in cooperation with Fundação Getulio Vargas, has been appointed to the Local Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympics Games Rio 2016.
Sthefânia Lacerda will work as an Accreditation Operations Specialist and is in charge of the prestigious Maracaña and Maracañazihno stadiums. Among other tasks, she has to identify the persons involved in the organisation of the Games in order to deliver to them the accesses necessary to perform their duties smoothly. Additionally, Sthefânia’s team is responsible for planning spectator movements and accesses to stadia during competitions as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.
