Chile: success for a member of the FIFA/CIES Network

Gonzalo Bossart, who is a graduate of the 9th edition of the FIFA Master and Head of the Law module for the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management at the Universidad Santo Tomás (UST) in Santiago, Chile, has been appointed arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

This gratifying success illustrates the quality of the people active within the FIFA/CIES International University Network. Gonzalo will join Margarita Echeverria, CIES coordinator in Costa Rica and already a CAS arbitrator for several years.

Speaking to CIES about his new appointment, Gonzalo said: ”The FIFA Master changed my life, both personally and professionally. It opened the world; it offered me many opportunities that I would never have dared to dream of. Furthermore, I am now living a rewarding experience as a professor of the UST/FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management held in Chile. As such, I can share my experiences and pass on the knowledge I have gained in the FIFA Master and in my later activities as a FIFA employee. This is a great satisfaction!”
