First 70 graduates from the FIFA/CIES Programme in Brazil!

The Fundação Getulio Vargas, a CIES academic partner since 2010, awarded diplomas to 70 students of the first FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management organised in Brazil. The graduation ceremony was held at the end of April at FGV headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.

In the presence of Stavros Xanthopoylos, vice dean of the FGV Institute of Educational Development,  Pedro Trengrouse, academic coordinator of the FIFA/CIES Programme, Denise Pozas, coordinator FGV Online, Claiton Fernandez and Rosangela Alves Ribeiro, professors, as well as Pierre Lanfranchi, CIES scientific coordinator, the first 70 students to successfully complete the Programme received their diplomas in a heart-warming ceremony that took place in the superb FGV Online building located in downtown Rio. On this occasion, the graduates had the opportunity of hearing a lecture by Jair Bertoni, head of cabinet of the European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) and FIFA Master alumnus.
