Issue 50 of the Big-5 Weekly Post

The CIES Football Observatory is happy to inform that the 50th issue of the Big-5 Weekly Post has been published. This edition presents the data on the average number of non-European players fielded by clubs since the start of the season.

While clubs in Italy fielded on average 3.2 non-European players since the start of the season, this figure is only 1.6 in England. At club level, the highest number of non-European players was recorded at Internazionale (7.1). At the opposite end of the table, only four clubs did not field non-European players (Arsenal, Norwich, Bilbao, Braunschweig).
