We were delighted to hear about the new sport success of Jennifer Miranda, a student of the FIFA/CIES Executive Programme in Sports Management (Curso Superior Universitario de Gestión del Deporte) organised in cooperation with Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid and the Real Federación Española de Futbol. Jennifer has been crowned Spanish boxing champion (60 kg division) for the sixth time.
Moreover, the talented sports woman, who is a member of the national team, has been recently appointed as a member of the Committee “Women and Sport” (Comisión Mujer y Deporte) of the Spanish Boxing Federation. The objective of this entity is to promote parity between women and men in sport, and in particular in the boxing world, for athletes as well as for technicians and referees.
