Russia: The Higher School of Economics celebrates its first graduates

The Higher School of Economics (HSE), which has been a CIES academic partner since 2014, celebrated the first graduation ceremony of the HSE/FIFA/CIES Programme in the wonderful surroundings of the Museum of Sport in Moscow.

After 8 months of studies and the completion of their final group project presentation, the 36 students received their diploma from representatives of the University, the Football Federation of Russia, the Ministry of Sport and CIES. It is worth noting that HSE also rewarded the best professors and lecturers from the Programme by presenting them with a certificate acknowledging their excellent teaching.

Alexander Shamrin, First Vice-Rector of HSE, and Bertrand Reeb, CIES President, underlined the quality of the partnership between both institutions: “Within two years, we have developed a high quality education programme which is open to all sports and to all sports organisations. There is no doubt that we will continue our work with the same dynamism and spirit of respect and friendship.”
