Russia: Two alumni recruited by the Russia 2018 Organising Committee

Two alumni of the HSE/FIFA/CIES Executive Programme in Sports Management organised in partnership with the Higher School of Economics (Moscow) have been recruited by the Local Organising Committee for the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup (LOC). They will be able to participate directly in one of the most prestigious and newsworthy sports events in the world.

After attending the first edition of the HSE/FIFA/CIES Executive Programme, Ludmila Kuznetsova and Kosachev Artem are now contributing to the organisation and success of the next World Cup.

Ludmila, who already benefits from significant experience in the field of event organisation, is developing projects concerning “spectator services” within the Russia 2018 LOC. As for Kosachev, after completing studies in the field of transport engineering and working in that area for four years, he is now tasked with duties as a specialist in pitch management.

Whether during work or leisure, each of them has a personal motto. Ludmila considers that “If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!” (Lewis Carroll, Through the Looking Glass). Kosachev favours the world of sport, quoting Lionel Messi: "Play for the badge on the front of the shirt and then all will remember the name on the back".
