WISE 2014, International Convention for Careers in Sports, news round-up!

We are only a few days away from the first ever International Convention for Careers in Sports and we have plenty of news to share with you.

AMAZING INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION

We are very excited as we have more than 24 nationalities represented among the attendees. The full list of participants will be released on www.wiselausanne.com in the coming days.

BRAZIL 2016 TOP CONFERENCE

Brazil is on everyone's mind as they are fast approaching two major events, the FIFA World Cup 2014 and the Olympic Games in 2016.

At WISE we will have a dedicated presentation on May 7th with Carlos Arthur NUZMAN, President RIO 2016 and Agberto GUIMARAES, Sport Director RIO 2016 on the topic "RIO 2016, Past, Present and Future". The RIO 2016 OCOG is divided into 6 executive departments and 56 functional areas. Join us and let's understand together how such a complex organisation can work together in order to construct the greatest sporting event on the planet!

COLIN JACKSON, MOTIVATIONAL SPEECH

It is impossible not to be motivated when attending WISE, as both mornings will be set into motion by our outstanding ambassador Colin Jackson, Athletics Legend & Sports Media Professional on a "Ready Get Set Go" motivational speech.

OPENING NIGHT, LEGACY OF MAJOR SPORTING EVENTS

This hot topic will also be discussed at length during WISE opening night on May 6 that will be preceded by a round-table co-organised by Centre International d'Etude du Sport (CIES) : "Brazil, from FIFA World Cup 2014 to 2016 Olympic Games. The legacy of major sporting events".
