Award night success for CIES / FIFA Master course

During the WISE - Work in Sports Exhibition convention (Wednesday 6th May), CIES received for its International Master in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport (FIFA Master) the coveted 2015 Professors' Choice Award from SportBusiness International as voted the best global course reputation by its academic peers.

The CIES was particularly proud to receive this prestigious award from members of the international academic community.

Winner of the overall award last year, the new 2015 rankings confirmed that the FIFA Master was again the No.1 postgraduate sports management course in Europe among nearly 100 other comparable programmes. This latest award for the FIFA Master continues the outstanding success of the programme.

The course has previously been named the top course in Europe in 2012, 2013, 2014 and top course in the world for 2014.

Since the FIFA Master was launched in 2000, the CIES and course Scientific Committee have worked tirelessly to equip international postgraduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to make an immediate and positive contribution to the global sports industry. This latest award is recognition of the dedication of the course team and the achievements of its course alumni now working in international sport. CIES is incredibly proud of their success and this award is as much for them as it is for the course academic partners at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK, SDA Bocconi School of Management, Milan, Italy, and the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
