CIES provides consulting services to federations, associations, clubs, sporting individuals and public institutions. It is equipped to provide expertise in the following areas:
In addition to its own in-house knowledge, CIES is supported by, and collaborates with, an international network of experts from the academic world as well as from many sporting organisations that together ensures that top level advice is always available.
Since 2005, the CIES endorses the Professional Football Players Observatory (PFPO), which was set up by Raffaele Poli and Loïc Ravenel. In 2011, this research group has been fully integrated in the developing project of a CIES Observatory, and thus renamed CIES Football Observatory.
