10th Anniversary Conference in Argentina: New high profile guest speakers confirmed
Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) and the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) have the pleasure to confirm the participation of senior figures from the world of sport for the joint 10th Anniversary Conference on ‘The World Cup in South America : history, organisation and legacy’. The event will take place in Buenos Aires on 18 October 2013.
We are delighted to confirm that Eugenio Figueredo Aguerre, CONMEBOL President and member of the FIFA Executive Committee, will join the conference as a special guest.
In addition, Christian Volk, Strategic & Special Projects Manager for FIFA Marketing, will be a member of the panel dedicated to the organisation of the World Cup. His presentation will focus on "The 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil ™ as a marketing platform".
UCA and CIES would like to thank both guests for joining the conference programme and we look forward to welcoming them both to Buenos Aires.
