26 NEW GRADUATES IN EGYPT

28 junio 2012

26 students from the fourth edition of the FIFA / CIES Programme in Sports Management received their diplomas at a ceremony held last week at the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University.

Students representing not just Egypt, but also Qatar, Bahrain, Sudan, Nigeria and Syria completed the FIFA / CIES Programme after successfully studying all six modules of the intensive course. The class this year had the opportunity to attend lectures from a variety of international experts. Rory Steyn (South Africa) discussed issues relating to safety and security, and Patrick Cotting (Switzerland) spoke on the important subject of sponsorship. The graduates now have the basic tools for managing sport while developing a network that will be helpful as they continue their professional careers.

CIES congratulates the new generation of sports managers and would like to wish all of the 2011/2012 class every success in the sports world: Walid, Safia, Nasser, Moustafa, Karim, Tarek, Amr, Eslam, Bassem, Mahmoud, Emad, Omar, Amr, Manar, Tarig, Osama, Ahmed, Isam, Mohamed, Ahmad, Mohammed, Nasser, Ahmed, Hamad, Obiageli, and Ibinkule – well done!
