3rd FGV-FIFA Master Alumni Seminar: a monumental success!
On July 2nd the FIFA Master Alumni Association (FMA) organized in partnership with Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), a world renowned centre for quality education, an outstanding Seminar which discussed the most current and relevant topics in the sports industry.
Over 400 people, including more than 80 accredited press members from the medias gathered to follow a rich and informative programme at the Theatre Maison de France, in the centre of Rio de Janeiro.
The opening of the Seminar was done by FIFA President, Joseph S. Blatter; Brazil’s Minister of Sports, Aldo Rebelo; FGV President Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal; and Rio de Janeiro’s Governor, Luiz Pezão. In order to thank President Blatter for his support since the creation of the FIFA Master, FMA vice-president Joao Frigerio presented a commemorative plaque to him. This 5th World Gathering of the FMA was also an occasion to celebrate the recent ranking of the FIFA Master as the n°1 Sports Management Master in the World.
The Seminar was widely covered by local media, to mention one of many others: TV Globo's “Jornal Nacional”, the most important TV news in South America.
