A Cairo University student completes the FIFA Master's Degree

22 julio 2011

Taha Mohamed Diaey, an alumnus of the first edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme organised in cooperation with Cairo University, has just successfully completed the FIFA Master's Programme. On July 15, 2011, he was awarded his degree by FIFA Secretary-General Jérôme Valcke, Patron of the 11th edition of the Master, and Denis Oswald, CIES Director and IOC Executive Board Member.

Above and beyond being a very enthusiastic student, Taha is also an entrepreneur whose company manages sports facilities (synthetic grass fields) in Cairo. His objective is to contribute to the development of his country through sport.

Taha is the second FIFA/CIES Programme alumnus to be awarded the FIFA Master's Degree. Solomon Mudegue, who attended the Programme at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth (South Africa), was the first alumnus to complete the Degree in 2009. Today, he works at FIFA headquarters in Zurich. Congratulations and best wishes to Taha!
