Cairo: An alumnus is working at the FIFA Development Office

Safia Abdel Dayem, an alumnus of the "FIFA Master" and of the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management organised by Cairo University, was recently hired as an Office Manager at the FIFA Development Office located in Cairo.

Among other duties, Safia is tasked with development courses for FIFA members and with women’s football. She also assists the Development Officer with management of various administrative tasks.

Safia is delighted to be working in the field of sport and considers that her participation in the FIFA/CIES Programme and in the "FIFA Master" played a decisive role in her new career path: “The FIFA/CIES Programme allowed me to discover different facets of sport I had never encountered before. This awakened my interest and made me eager to acquire more knowledge. I therefore submitted an application for the "FIFA Master" where I met interesting teachers who are passionate about what they do, speakers who opened my eyes to other cultures, other realities. These were among the best experiences in my life, the kind that revealed me to myself and that showed me the richness of others… and of sport, naturally!”
