How has the FIFA Master helped you in your career?
The entire course has greatly contributed to my professional development. The three modules - Humanities of Sport, Sport Management and Sports Law - complement each other well and provided a comprehensive understanding of the sports industry.
One of the most valuable aspects of the FIFA Master were the various field visits to international sports organizations which we were able to undertake during our studies. Here, I learned first-hand how these organizations are structured differently and operate globally. These experiences offered practical insights that I still draw upon in my career today.
While all of the modules were impactful, the Sport Management module has been especially beneficial for me after graduation. It equipped me with essential skills and knowledge. Additionally, collaborating with fellow alumni has been incredibly valuable - creating a strong network, opening doors and fostering ongoing professional growth.
What advice would you give to future students?
As a FIFA Master alumnus, I can assure you that this programme will be an extraordinary journey which will deepen your understanding of the sports industry and open doors to global opportunities. You will be studying at top institutions, collaborate with passionate peers from diverse backgrounds and gain insights into the multifaceted world of sport.
This experience extends beyond academics—it’s about building a global network, fostering learning, and paving the way for your future in sport management. Throughout the year, you’ll face challenges, celebrate milestones, and form lasting relationships. My key advice is to stay curious, open-minded, and make the most of every opportunity to learn and grow.
Remember, the program’s impact depends on your engagement—so dive in wholeheartedly, ask questions, and cherish every moment. You’re joining a vibrant community of individuals dedicated to making a positive difference in sport.
