Senegal: Success of a UCAD alumnus

Khadim Diop, who attended the 8th edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management organised in cooperation with Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) in Dakar (Senegal), is the coordinator of the 9th edition of the Africa International Sports Convention (CISA) which will take place from 12 to 14 March 2015 in Kigali (Rwanda).

Initiated in 2007, the CISA Convention brings together sports professionals at the African and global levels. The event provides a unique opportunity for managers of international sports organisations to meet and network with sports leaders and decision-makers in Africa.

In the last eight years, major cities have welcomed the CISA Convention: Dakar (Senegal) in 2007, Abuja (Nigeria) in 2008, Alexandria (Egypt) in 2009, Ekurhuleni (South Africa) in 2010, Marrakesh (Morocco) in 2011, Bamako (Mali) in 2012, Dakar (Senegal) in 2013 and Ilha do Sal (Cape Verde) in 2014.

The members of the FIFA/CIES network extend their warm congratulations to Khadim for his professional success and his hard work to promote African sport.
