16 noviembre 2015

Last Saturday, Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) in Dakar (Senegal) awarded their diplomas to the students of the 9th edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme, in the presence of many government officials and representatives of Senegalese sport.

UCAD, a FIFA/CIES International University Network partner since 2006, celebrated its 19 new graduates during a ceremony bringing together representatives of the University Rector, the Higher National Institute of Education and Sport (INSEPS), the Minister of Sports, the Minister of Higher Education and several entities related to sport.

As the class patron, Raphaël Kodjovi Agopome, Director of the Dakar International Athletics Centre, congratulated the new graduates and expressed his hopes that they would soon be able to use their newly-acquired knowledge to the benefit of Senegalese sport.

Speaking on behalf of the graduating class and to respond to the previous speaker, Rokhaya Sarr stated that the doors of sports organisations should now open to the new generation of managers who are UCAD/FIFA/CIES Programme alumni: “Current events have shown that it is important to reform a number of processes and practices. We are here to make our contribution!”

After the diplomas were awarded, the “new alumni” welcomed their colleagues from the 10th edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme by offering them a welcome gift.

All our congratulations and best wishes for success to Siegfried Leonel, Sokhna Fatou, Babacar, Pierre Stanislas, Badara, Papa Alassane, Sélémane, Cheikh, Mouhamadou, Zahra, Mamadou, Baïdy, Rokhaya, Mamadou, Ndèye Aïssatou, Kossi Amidah, Mamadou, Mor and Seydina Issa.
