The end of one chapter, but the beginning of our next lifelong adventure

It's amazing how quickly time flies by. It seems like only a week ago when we were all so excited about arriving in Leicester for the start of the course. Today, nearly one year later, all I can tell you is - we did it! We are officially FIFA Master Alumni!

The month of July was a rollercoaster of emotions and, while we all wanted to graduate in order to make the leap into the sports industry, we also all wanted to continue living this wonderful dream called the FIFA Master.

The academic focus continued because we still had one mission still to accomplish, the presentation of the Final Projects. We continued to work hard to deliver great papers on topics such as Safeguarding, Mental Health, Sportswashing, Women's Football, Winter Olympics, Paralympic Games, and Sports Betting.

At the end of this journey, I am sure that all twenty-six of us are left with the great satisfaction of knowing that we lived this last year to the fullest. I want to thank all my classmates, because without them, this adventure would never have been the same. They all contributed something unique and magical that gave us all memories that will be remembered by us forever.

From today our paths will begin to separate, but, I am sure it will be something only momentary, because we have something that will always unite us. That something is having shared the 24th edition of the FIFA Master and it is something which will never be taken away from us a group.

It was also a great pleasure to have the privilege of meeting the families and close friends of most of you, because we got to know a little bit more about your normal lives.

Finally, many thanks to the professors, guest speakers, coordinators, directors, and members of the scientific committee for always looking for ways to help guide us on our journey.

This is the 24th edition of the FIFA Master signing off, and wishing all the very best to the next 25th edition. You are about to live the best year of your life!
