Current position: Growth and Planning Manager, EMEA Streaming @Warner Bros. Discovery

Year of graduation: 2011 (11th Edition)

Nationality: Italian and British

What does your current role involve?

I have just very recently (Oct 2025) moved into my current role as Growth and Planning Manager in the EMEA Streaming team at Warner Bros. Discovery with the goal of supporting and leading the delivery of our strategic objectives for our OTT platform HBO Max in EMEA through key partnerships and operational efficiencies. In this new role, I am acting as the EMEA business POC for technical integrations with partners and their strategic prioritisation and liaising with a number of different stakeholders across commercial, distribution, finance, tech teams and marketing.

In this position, I am planning to sharpen my strategic and business focus and leverage my product knowledge and experience to drive growth. For the last eight years I have worked as a Sr. Programme Manager at Warner Bros. Discovery in the digital customer experience team leading launch readiness in EMEA through new market expansions. Initially joined to be part of the Eurosport Digital team in 2017, I have since then worked across 5 Olympic Games (Pyeongchang, Bejing, Tokyo, Paris and Milano-Cortina) as well as contributed to the launch of TNT Sports in the UK helping deliver a smooth viewer experience on our WBD streaming platforms for millions of sports fans across Europe.

Initially I joined to be part of the Eurosport Digital team ahead of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, and I have worked across multiple digital platform launches, sunsets, re-branding efforts (including the transition from BT Sport to TNT Sports in the UK) and big live sport events streaming operations representing the voice of the customers and delivering against go-to-market plans.

Today, sports continues to represent an invaluable asset and growth engine in our streaming portfolio and on a personal level, a passion I keep pursuing and being involved in in my local community.

Which aspects of the FIFA Master course have helped you most in your career?

I was drawn to the FIFA Master by its uniqueness in being so international, and that has proven to be by far what has shaped and helped me in my career the most.  It exposed me to a wide range of backgrounds and cultures which has been incredibly useful when, years later, I started working in a big global media company like Warner Bros. Discovery.

Being one of the youngest in my class and fresh from university also meant I could learn an awful lot from some of my older classmates who had already had a few more years of working experience than me under their belts.

The FIFA Master also helped me land my very first job in sport right after graduation working as an Event Manager for Vero Volley, one of the field visits organised during the Milan module.

What advice would you give to future students?

Enjoy every minute of it. You won't have many other opportunities in life to participate in something like the FIFA Master. It is such a unique experience, and one which you will be filled with pride every time you talk about it. Don’t be shy and take the opportunity to get to know your fellow classmates, the guest speakers and everyone who contributes to making the year a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
