Andrea Pessina is a graduate of the FIFA Master 2006 with a background in Sociology and Political Science. After some experiences in sports marketing agencies and two years as FIFA Master Coordinator Management Module he joined the CIES Football Observatory at his very beginning.

He is currently working full time for the CIES Football Observatory, as researcher from 2009. He is responsible to gather all relevant data on professional footballers playing in the leagues covered and to maintain and update the CIES Football Observatory database. He takes care the quality control of all the information entering the database ensuring the highest accuracy in the data collected.
