ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

CIES University Network Alumni Association
(CIES-UNA)

6,500 alumni... More than 130 nationalities... A wealth of experience and knowledge... A unique place to discuss, exchange, share, discover and grow.

The FIFA/CIES International University Network brings together more than 6,500 former students who have completed the FIFA/CIES International Programme in Sports Management around the world over the past 20 years.

These former students represent more than 130 nationalities. The vast majority of them are active in sport (90%), and in particular in football (70%), working as employees or volunteers in international federations, continental organisations, national federations, regional associations, leagues, clubs, government entities, municipalities, NGOs or companies related to the sport industry.

It is therefore essential that the FIFA/CIES International University Network develops and consolidates links between these alumni, who together form a tremendous pool of knowledge, skills and experience in all areas of sports management.

To this end, CIES established the CIES University Network Alumni Association (CIES-UNA) on 21st June 2025 during the closing ceremony of the 17th FIFA/CIES International Programme organised by Cairo University, Egypt.

The first general meeting of CIES-UNA will most likely be held during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
