Raffaele Poli
Head of the CIES Football Observatory
Raffaele Poli holds a PhD in human sciences from the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland) and Franche-Comté (France). Dr Poli heads the CIES Football Observatory, a leading research group in the demographic analysis of the football players’ labour market, the technical analysis of player performance and the scientific estimation of transfer values. He is also lecturer at the Institute of geography of the University of Neuchâtel, where he teaches ‘Enjeux contemporains du sport’ with his colleague Roger Besson.
