AFC Women’s Asian Cup™ History Book unveiled

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) launched the first-ever AFC Women’s Asian Cup™ History Book, which details the evolution of the competition and its remarkable growth since the first edition in 1975.

The book spans over 180 pages that chronicles every edition of the competition. The History book project was a collaborative effort with the AFC, CIES and the FIFA Museum all contributing to the successful publication. Dr Kevin Tallec Marston expressed CIES’s gratitude to have had the privilege to work on the project: “The AFC and a host of Asian Member Associations were incredibly supportive during the research phase and we certainly could not have produced this without the collaboration of the FIFA Museum’s Library and Archival collection.”
