APPLICATIONS FOR THE FIFA RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP 2027: KICK-OFF ON 1 SEPTEMBER
Applications for the FIFA Research Scholarship 2027 are now open as from 1st September. Young scholars are invited to submit research proposals related to football in any of the following fields of study: humanities and social sciences, law, economics, computer science, engineering and medical sciences.
Eligibility requirements for candidates, whether applying individually or as part of a group, are as follows:
- Must not be older than forty (40) years of age; and
- Must either be doctoral students in at least their second year (thesis in progress) or researchers, with or without a doctorate, whose academic research work is documented and firmly established at a recognised research institution.
The deadline for submissions is 30 September 2026.
