CIES and the FMA Family mourns the passing of Kevin O’Riordan

It is with great regrets that CIES and the FIFA Master Alumni family received the sad news of the death of Kevin O’Riordan, alumnus from the 7th edition. According to reports, Kevin died peacefully at the Bon Secours Hospital, in Cork, Ireland.

Biplav Gautam, who was a classmate of Kevin paid tribute: " I am really shocked and saddened to hear the news of Kevin's passing.  I was just thinking of him the other day when the topic of the sport of hurling came up in a conversation and I recalled the brilliant presentation he made to our class on sport in Ireland. I then pictured him enjoying life in sunny Spain, where he was residing. Kevin was always such a gentleman and I fondly remember the eloquence with which he delivered his presentations including our graduation address."

Our thoughts and prayers go to his wife, Maria, parents, John and Anne, family and friends.
