FIFA and CIES collaborate again on the Global Club Football Report
FIFA recently published the ‘2018 Global Club Football Report’ an annual analysis conducted in collaboration between FIFA Professional Football Department and the CIES (International Centre for Sports Studies). The report has the objective of sharing knowledge and establishing standards for the development and governance of club football.
This second edition has counted with the support of the confederations and the involvement of the 211 FIFA Member Associations.
In line with FIFA Professional Football Programmes, the report focuses on the implementation status of club licensing around the world, an overview of labour and sporting regulations, as well as insights into local men and women’s regional club competitions.
