Alberto Trovamala
Current Position: Venue Media Specialist at Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 + Business Development Advisor at Lake38 Advisory
Year of graduation: 2022 (22nd Edition)
Nationality: Italian
What does your current role involve?
At Milano Cortina 2026, I am responsible for planning the operations involving media at the Val di Fiemme Cluster (Tesero and Predazzo venues) and the Antholz venue. These locations will host events in Cross Country, Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and Biathlon during the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
At Lake38, I seek brands interested in investing in sports through partnership opportunities. I support them from the initial negotiation phase through to activations, aiming to create long-term, mutually beneficial deals for all stakeholders involved.
Which aspects of the FIFA Master course have helped you most in your career?
The FIFA Master provided me with numerous new perspectives on the global sports industry. Viewing sport differently, not only thanks to the lectures I was able to attend during the three modules in Leicester, Milano and Neuchâtel, but also through the eyes of my international classmates was key to broadening my understanding and appreciating the nuances of various sporting disciplines. These insights I will carry with me forever.
What advice would you give to future students on the course?
Make the most of this experience by committing yourself 100%. Engage fully with the diverse cultures you will encounter throughout the year, not only in lectures and the cities you will be living in, but also through the fellow members of your class who will be from around the world. They will become lifelong friends.
