FIFA Master Alumni Samson Adamu appointed as interim General Secretary of CAF

The CIES and FIFA Master course team send their congratulations to 2009 course graduate, Samson Adamu, who has been appointed interim General Secretary of the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF). Samson was previously Competitions Director at the confederation.

Speaking about his time on the FIFA Master, Samson said, “Even though it has been a long time since I studied the content of the course, it taught me how to think when it comes to the sports industry and connected me to a world of incredible people from all backgrounds and origins”.

The FIFA Master, which has been ranked the No.1 Postgraduate Sports Management course in Europe thirteen times by the influential SportBusiness rankings, is jointly delivered by the International Centre for Sports History and Culture at De Montfort University in Leicester, UK, SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milano, Italy, and the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. Overall coordination is provided by the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES).
