Great memories from the LATAM 2025 study trip to Chile

This year's LATAM study trip took place in Chile, during the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The 109 members of the FIFA/CIES International University Network, who came from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Puerto Rico and Venezuela, left with precious memories of this three-day trip. The programme included keynote lectures, visits to sports facilities, attendance at a match during the prestigious competition, as well as meetings at various social events.

In particular, they discussed the importance of major events in shaping a country's image in the presence of Chile's Minister of Sport, visited the new ‘Claro Arena’ at the Universidad Católica de Chile, learned about innovations and new technologies applied to sport at CRTIC, visited the ‘Elias Figueroa Brander’ stadium in Valparaiso to watch the semi-final between Morocco and France, and talked with experts from FIFA about the organisation of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, not forgetting a behind-the-scenes tour of the event.
