FIFA/CIES International Programme in Sports Management
04 November 2026

Twenty-five students have completed the FIFA/CIES International Programme organised by Kozminski University, CIES’s academic partner in Poland.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Sylwia Halas-Dej, Dean of the Kozminski Executive Business School and Vice-Rector for Development and External Relations; Karol Tatar, CIES local coordinator, and Vincent Monnier, CIES representative.

During the event, the winners of the 2025 and 2026 International University Network Award took part in a round-table discussion focusing on their group project, entitled “AdaptiFit” (an application that aims to help people with disabilities take part in sporting activities) and “Active Senior AI” (a case study of the town of Piastów with adaptation potential for municipal and local government units in Poland”.

Regarded as one of the best business schools in Poland, Kozminski University has won this award three times. The winners of the 2025 and 2026 editions had the opportunity to visit Mexico City in June 2026, to coincide with the World Cup and the first meeting of CIES-UNA, the alumni association of the FIFA/CIES International University Network Programme.

Since its inception in 2014, the FIFA/CIES Network Programme has established itself as a benchmark in its field in Poland. Its success is based on the excellent quality of its teaching, which combines theoretical lessons, lectures delivered by experts from the sports sector in Poland and around the world, as well as numerous visits to companies and organisations linked to the sports sector.

The Programme also includes ‘observer’ activities set up in collaboration with PGE Narodowy and Ekstraklasa, which enable students to gain an insight into the organisation of major sporting events behind the scenes.

CIES extends its warmest congratulations to all the graduates on their achievement: Agnieszka Wdowiarska, Aiman Kubeisi, Aleksandra Stodółkiewicz, Andrzej Szyposzyński, Bogna Szeląg, Daniil Pronski, Emilia Wiśniak, Izabella Rześniowiecka-Walter, Jakub Haniaczyk, Jakub Kołodziejski, Kamil Grzelak, Krystian Czeszewski, Marcin Kaszubowski, Martyna Kłoda, Mateusz Szymajda, Mateusz Zbik, Michał Zajdel, Patrycja Lisiecka, Paweł Kostuj, Paweł Michalak, Piotr Łapa, Piotr Pajewski, Przemysław Setner, Radosław Marcinkowski and Sylwia Wojtowicz.
