Launch of the FIFA/CIES Programme in Lebanon

Notre Dame University - Louaize (NDU) in the city of Zouk Mosbeh (Lebanon), a CIES partner since 2012, officially launched the registration procedure for the first edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management, which will start at the beginning of March 2013.

NDU President Fr Walid Moussa emphasized the importance of an international partnership with CIES and the need for his university to continue the training of stakeholders in Lebanese sport, whether in physical education, administration or ethics.

To quote CIES President Bertrand Reeb: “It is with great joy and pleasure that we will welcome Lebanese students to our Network. We hope that they will be able to enjoy all the benefits of our Programme and of exchanges with other partner universities, to better serve their sports organisations”.

The FIFA/CIES Programme is available in thirteen countries and allows participants from different professional and sporting horizons to grasp modern management tools in the fields of marketing, sponsorship, law, management, communication, finance and organisation of sports events. The course content is adapted to regional and national realities and classes also offer students the opportunity to hear talks by international specialists invited by FIFA and CIES.
