Professional success for a former student of the FIFA/CIES Programme!
Diogo Miguel Lourenço, alumnus of the URJC/FIFA/CIES Programme in Sport Management in Madrid (Spain), has just been hired by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). He will be working within the “Competitions & Events" department based in Lisbon.
After studies in the field of industrial management, Diogo attended various sport management programmes, including the one organised by the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC), the Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) and CIES in 2011/2012. He also participated as a volunteer in the UEFA EURO 2012 in the host city of Poznan in Poland.
His appointment by the FPF will allow him to apply his newly-acquired knowledge in sport management but also to satisfy his passion for sport and football in particular.
The whole FIFA/CIES Network Team congratulates Diogo and wishes him every success in his new responsibilities!
