Russia: Four alumni from the HSE/FIFA/CIES Executive Programme alumni participate at Ashgabat 2017

Four alumni from the FIFA/CIES Executive Programme organised in cooperation with the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow participated in the 5th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games which took place in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, in September.

Daria Smirnova, who attended the first edition of the Executive Programme before graduating from the FIFA Master, Evgeniya Stepanova (2nd edition), Elena Stenkina (2nd edition) and Nikolay Kondakov (3rd edition) carried out various responsibilities during the competition which gathered more than 40 countries and 6000 athletes.

Daria was appointed as a Venue Media Manager, while Evgeniya was responsible for ticketing. Elena was tasked with the supervision of umpires at tennis matches and Nikolay acted as a Venue Photography Manager during the 3x3 basketball competition.

These various event operation experiences filled the four alumni with great enthusiasm and gave them new self-confidence. There is no doubt the young sport managers will use their experiences in future competitions.
