Success for an alumnus from Senegal
Steve Sina, an alumnus of the 6th edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management organised with Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) in Dakar (Senegal), has just been appointed administrative secretary of the Union Sportive de Douala football club.
Once he was awarded his sport management diploma, Steve Sina completed an internship abroad before going back to Cameroon to work for Union Sportive de Douala as a volunteer in charge of communication.
“I was happy to serve and work with the club of my childhood. Union Sportive de Douala has a prestigious history. The club has won 5 national championships, 6 national cups in Cameroon, 1 African Champions League and 1 African Cup-Winners’ Cup.”
Following his appointment as administrative secretary, Steve commented: “This is a success at the personal level but also for the FIFA/CIES Programme and UCAD. I wish to thank my teachers and my classmates for the moments of sharing and exchange that I experienced with them throughout the curriculum.”
