The winner of the 2025 FIFA/CIES Network Prize is..
An international jury awarded the 2025 FIFA/CIES International University Network Prize at a meeting held on 13 February 2025 at the CIES headquarters in Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
After evaluating the 14 competing projects, the jury decided to award the 2025 FIFA/CIES International University Network Prize to the group project ‘’AdaptiFit' an application to support people with disabilities in pursuing sports activities" presented by four students from Kozminski University (Poland), namely Halina Danielak, Jakub Godlewski, Katarzyna Łopuszyńska, and Stanisław Miliński.
In view of the existing shortcomings in Poland, the project proposes a mobile application aimed at meeting the needs of athletes and other people with disabilities in the sports market. Among other things, this platform aims to make them more independent by putting them in touch with clubs, facilities and competitions adapted to their needs. It offers various features such as localisation, evaluation based on facilities for people with disabilities, information on sporting events, etc.
The jury members emphasised the qualities of the project, particularly its originality, its objective to fill a gap in the sports market in Poland, its inclusive dimension, its use of new technologies and its practical and feasible aspect. In addition, they highlighted the use of the management tools covered in the course.
Congratulations to Halina, Jakub, Kaztarzyna and Stanisław for their innovative project, which takes local needs into account while offering concrete solutions.
