Twenty-seven students complete the 9th edition of the FIFA/CIES International Programme in Poland
Twenty-seven students have successfully completed the 9th edition of the FIFA/CIES International Programme in Sports Management organised by Kozminski University in cooperation with the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES).
The official graduation ceremony brought together graduates, faculty members and various guests. Sylwia Hałas-Dej, Vice-Rector for Development and External Relations and Dean of the Kozminski Executive Business School, was the first to speak, followed by Mr Vincent Monnier, Head of the FIFA/CIES International University Network, and Jakub Kużdżał, representing the graduating class. Also in attendance were Karol Tatar, CIES Coordinator in Poland, and Magdalena Żuk, Education Consultant at Kozminski Executive Business School.
All speakers emphasised the growing role of the Programme in training future leaders in the sports industry, as well as its contribution to the professionalisation of sports management education in Poland.
The ceremony also welcomed Katarzyna Łopuszyńska and Stanisław Miliński, graduates of the 8th edition, who represented the winning team of the FIFA/CIES International University Network Award 2025. They presented the most important aspects of their winning group project and shared their thoughts on the creative process, and collaboration required to develop it. The project is called “‘AdaptiFit’, an application designed to support people with disabilities participate in sports activities”. Their contribution inspired the graduates and encouraged them to strive for excellence in their daily work.
The ceremony ended with a buffet, which allowed the participants to chat and share a special moment together as part of their academic journey on the course. This event highlighted Kozminski University's commitment to fostering a vibrant, international community of professionals dedicated to sports management and building its future.
