Applications NOW OPEN for the 28th edition of Europe’s No.1 ranked FIFA Master course
The official application portal for the next edition of the award winning FIFA Master is now open.
The FIFA Master recently maintained its position as the leading postgraduate sport management course in Europe with a record-breaking 14th No.1 award in the new 2026 Sport Business rankings. In addition, the course has been named as No.2 in the world.
The latest rankings underline the high-quality academic teaching provided, comprehensive candidate selection process, class diversity and excellent graduate employability rate - which is now at 97.9% employed, 12 months after graduation.
Each year the programme has strengthened careers support, industry connections and alumni engagement, opening the way for students to take on meaningful roles across the international sports sector and further cementing the course’s standing for career development.
Successful applicants for the 28th edition of this full-time Postgraduate course, organised by the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) and supported by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), will study the Humanities of Sport at the International Centre for Sports History and Culture at De Montfort University, England, followed by Sport Management at SDA Bocconi School of Management in Italy and then Sports Law at the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. Students will also complete a group Final Project on a research topic of their choice.
Since the FIFA Master first launched in 2000, over 700 students have graduated from the programme and approaching 90% are now working directly in the industry for organisations such as FIFA, IOC, UEFA, AFC, CAF, FEI, FIVB, various clubs, event organisers, sports marketing agencies, NGO’s and media companies.
Each year around thirty students are selected to participate and complete their studies in Management, Law and the Humanities of Sport and we welcome applications from candidates interested in ALL sports and from ANY academic background.
Please note that the deadline for applying to the 28th Edition of the FIFA Master is midday (12pm) Central European Time on Friday, 8 January 2027.
Only fully completed applications received by this date will be considered by the Scientific Committee.
